The Lives of Harry Lime starring Orson Welles, originally broadcast May 9, 1952, Viva La Chance. Harry is in Paris, planning to cheat an American named Henry Witherspoon with a scheme involving a treasure in buried gold. Also an excerpt of the morning radio program Breakfast with Dorothy and Dick starring newspaperwoman Dorothy Kilgallen (later remembered for her time on What’s My Line) and her husband Dick Kollmer, broadway actor/producer and star of radio’s Boston Blackie. This broadcast from May 9, 1947 features baseball’s Leo Durocher and his wife, actress Laraine Day.
