Christmas Party Turns Violent: Drunk Woman Assaults Staff & Resists Arrest
On December 17th, 2023, officers in Florida responded to a disturbance at a local restaurant. Upon arrival, they found a large crowd arguing loudly, with multiple people pointing to a black female wearing a black jacket, white shirt, and a Christmas-themed headband as the aggressor. The suspect was screaming obscenities and became increasingly agitated when officers attempted to detain her. Despite officers' efforts to calm her down, she resisted, preventing the officers from closing the patrol car door by kicking at it. The officers, in an attempt to avoid injury, had to apply a hobble restraint to the suspect's legs to prevent further kicking. After securing her in the patrol vehicle, officers spoke with the victims. Both employees at the restaurant reported that the suspect had been belligerent inside the establishment.
