Our first conversation took place after the opening round of NBC's The Voice. We laughed so hard before the show that when it came time to begin recording I actually feared that much of our energy was spent just in the introduction. But Chris knew we had a higher calling backing the two of us up. Instantly we connected to a deeper purpose and reason for seasons to happen. Which made the journey toward sharing the story wide open with connection. I remember mentioning to him afterwords that I hoped God would open the path for another opportunity to communicate.
