Bg: Имаше веднъж един човек на име Николай.
En: Once upon a time, there was a man named Nikolay.

Bg: Николай живееше в голям град наречен София и обичаше да ходи на Централния софийски пазар в събота сутрин.
En: Nikolay lived in a big city called Sofia and he loved to go to the Central Sofia Market on Saturday mornings.

Bg: Навън беше пролет и пазарът беше пълен с хора.
En: It was spring outside and the market was crowded with people.

Bg: Една сутрин, Николай отиде на пазара да купи продукти.
En: One morning, Nikolay went to the market to buy groceries.

Bg: Той искаше да намери най-добрите яйца за закуска.
En: He wanted to find the best eggs for breakfast.

Bg: Мина покрай много търговци и стигна до щанда, където продаваха яйца.
En: He passed by many vendors and reached the stand where they were selling eggs.

Bg: "Дванадесет яйца, моля" - каза Николай и посочи към кутиите с яйца.
En: "Twelve eggs, please," said Nikolay, pointing to the boxes of eggs.

Bg: Продавачът, който се казваше Мария, го погледна учудено.
En: The vendor, named Maria, looked at him in astonishment.

Bg: Тя му подаде нещо, покрито със сено и го завърза бързо в голяма торба.
En: She handed him something covered in hay and quickly tied it in a large bag.

Bg: Николай плати и взе торбата, без да погледне вътре.
En: Nikolay paid and took the bag without looking inside.

Bg: Когато Николай излезе от щанда, чу силно шумоляне от торбата.
En: As Nikolay left the stand, he heard a loud noise coming from the bag.

Bg: Той реши да погледне и отвори връзките.
En: He decided to look and untied the knots.

Bg: Изненадата беше голяма когато от торбата изскочи жива пиле!
En: He was greatly surprised when a live chick jumped out of the bag!

Bg: Пилето забяга бързо между хората и щандовете.
En: The chick quickly ran between the people and the stands.

Bg: Николай веднага започна да го преследва.
En: Nikolay immediately started chasing it.

Bg: Хората се смееха и викаха, докато пилето тичаше тук-таме.
En: People laughed and shouted as the chick ran around.

Bg: Николай и пилето създадоха истински хаос на пазара.
En: Nikolay and the chick created real chaos at the market.

Bg: Отвсякъде човеци идваха да гледат.
En: People came from everywhere to watch.

Bg: Мария, видяла какво става, изтича от щанда си и започна да помага на Николай.
En: Maria, seeing what was happening, rushed out of her stand and started helping Nikolay.

Bg: След много бягане и вълнения, Николай и Мария успяха да хванат пилето.
En: After much running and excitement, Nikolay and Maria managed to catch the chick.

Bg: Мария се извини за грешката и даде на Николай дванадесетте яйца, които той искаше.
En: Maria apologized for the mistake and gave Nikolay the twelve eggs he wanted.

Bg: Николай се смя с Мария и те заедно пиха кафе.
En: Nikolay laughed with Maria and they had coffee together.

Bg: Със смях и нови приятелства, денят на пазара завърши добре.
En: With laughter and new friendships, the day at the market ended well.

Bg: Николай вече винаги ще проверява какво купува, а Мария ще внимава какво продава.
En: Nikolay will now always check what he is buying, and Maria will be more careful about what she sells.

Bg: От този ден нататък Николай и Мария станаха добри приятели.
En: From that day on, Nikolay and Maria became good friends.

Bg: И пилето?
En: And the chick?

Bg: О, то получи нов дом в задния двор на Николай, където живее щастливо и до ден днешен.
En: Oh, it got a new home in Nikolay's backyard, where it still lives happily to this day.
