Story Transcript:

Cy: Roedd hi'n ddiwrnod ffair yng Nghastell Caerffili, ac roedd pawb yn edrych ymlaen at y dathliadau'n cychwyn.
En: It was a fair day at Caerphilly Castle, and everyone was looking forward to the celebrations getting underway.

Cy: Roedd Carys, merch ifanc gyda gwallt arian disglair, yn sefyll wrth ei ffrind Ieuan, bachgen tal â gwên eang, a Rhys, a oedd bob amser yn barod am antur.
En: Carys, a young girl with shiny silver hair, stood next to her friend Ieuan, a tall boy with a broad smile, and Rhys, who was always ready for an adventure.

Cy: "Gweld y castell yn llawn lliw a sain yn fy ngwneud i'n hapus iawn," meddai Carys, gan syllu ar y faneri lliwgar yn chwifio yn y gwynt.
En: "Seeing the castle full of color and sound makes me very happy," said Carys, gazing at the colorful flags waving in the wind.

Cy: "Ond dydi'r diwrnod ddim yn dechrau go iawn tan fod y caniau wedi tanio," winciodd Rhys, gan arddangos ei wybodaeth am draddodiadau'r ŵyl.
En: "But the day won't really start until the cannons have fired," Rhys winced, displaying his knowledge of the festival's traditions.

Cy: Nid Carys na Ieuan oedd yn gwybod llawer am yr hen caniau rhyfel a oedd yn gorwedd yn y castell.
En: Neither Carys nor Ieuan knew much about the old war cannons lying in the castle.

Cy: Roedd hi'n llusgo'i bysedd arnhwylt yn meddwl am y fury.
En: She dragged her curiosity, thinking about the festival.

Cy: Pan welodd un o'r caniau hen, roedd hi wedi ei hudo mor llwyr fel nad oedd hi hyd yn oed yn sylwi bod ei thraed wedi'i harwain yn uniongyrchol ato.
En: When she saw one of the old cannons, she was so mesmerized that she didn't even notice her feet leading her directly to it.

Cy: "Dyweda i ti, dylen ni fod yn ofalus fan hyn," rhybuddiodd Ieuan, ond roedd hi eisoes yn rhy hwyr.
En: "Tell you what, we should be careful here," warned Ieuan, but it was already too late.

Cy: Gan eu bod mor danbaid â'i chwilfrydedd, heb feddwl, gwthiodd Carys ffon cynnau go iawn oedd yn gorwedd yn ddiystyr wrth ymylon y can.
En: As eager as her curiosity, without thinking, Carys pushed a real cannon that was silently resting at the edge of the field.

Cy: Yn sydyn iawn, daeth sŵn uchel fel taranau o'r can!
En: Suddenly, a loud sound rang out like thunder from the cannon!

Cy: Gyda'r effeithiau rhyfeddol, dyma'r defaid a oedd yn pori'n dawel ar dir y castell yn cychwyn rhedeg mewn pob cyfeiriad posibl!
En: With the astonishing effects, here came the sheep that had been quietly grazing on the castle grounds, starting to run in every possible direction!

Cy: "O na!
En: "Oh no!"

Cy: " gweiddodd Carys mewn arswyd.
En: cried Carys in horror.

Cy: "Beth wnes i å?
En: "What have I done?"

Cy: "Rhys a Ieuan yn rhuthro ati, eu llygaid mor ehangu â'er defaid, a chydag ymdrech a phenderfyniad, penderfynodd y tri phlentyn gydweithio i ddod â trefn yn ôl i'r ŵyl.
En: Rhys and Ieuan rushed to them, their eyes as wide as the sheep, and with effort and determination, the three children decided to work together to bring order back to the festival.

Cy: Trwy'r pnawn, gyda help pobl y pentref, seidr fu'r chwys wrth i Carys, Ieuan, a Rhys redeg o gwmpas, yn ogystal â bloeddio a pherswadio'r defaid i ddychwelyd i gaerau'r Castell.
En: Throughout the afternoon, with the help of the townspeople, magic worked as Carys, Ieuan, and Rhys ran around, as well as coaxing and persuading the sheep to return to the castle's enclosures.

Cy: Roedd yn oriau caled, ond yn y diwedd, roedd bob un dafad yn ôl yn ei lle, pob can wedi'i ddwthwch, a phawb yn gwenu unwaith eto.
En: It was hard work, but in the end, every sheep was back in its place, every cannon silent, and everyone smiling once again.

Cy: "Rhaid inni ddysgu i fod yn ofalus yn y dyfodol," meddai Carys, yn bendant wedi dysgu gwers.
En: "We must learn to be careful in the future," said Carys, determined to have learned a lesson.

Cy: Wrth i haul gwawrio ar Gefndir y Castell, galwodd Maer y dref 'Diolch!
En: As the sun rose over the Castle's Backdrop, the Mayor of the town called out 'Thank you!'

Cy: ' i'r plant, sy'n hongian eu pennau yn llawn cywilydd ond hefyd balch iawn.
En: to the children, who hung their heads in embarrassment but also great pride.

Cy: Roedd diwrnod y ffair yn un anghofiadwy, ac yn ysbrydoliaeth ar gyfer straeon a chwerthin yn yr amser i ddod.
En: The fair day was unforgettable and an inspiration for stories and laughter in the times to come.

Cy: Ac er i Carys achosi aflonyddwch am eiliad, roedd wedi dod yn arwres y dref am ei hymdrech i wrthdroi ei chamgymeriad.
En: And although Carys caused a moment of distress, she had become the town's heroine for her effort in reversing her mistake.

Cy: Aeth Carys, Ieuan, a Rhys adref wedi blino ond yn hapus, yn gwybod y byddent bob amser yn cofio'r ŵyl honno yng Nghastell Caerffili, lle bu accident bach yn troi yn wers fawr i bob un o honynt.
En: Carys, Ieuan, and Rhys went home tired but happy, knowing they would always remember that day at Caerphilly Castle, where a little accident turned into a great lesson for each of them.
