El: Οι ουρανοί ήταν σκοτεινοί και οι άνεμοι παγωμένοι.
En: The skies were dark and the winds were icy.

El: Ο Ήλιος δεν είχε σκάψει το πρόσωπο της γης για εβδομάδες.
En: The Sun hadn't touched the face of the earth for weeks.

El: Ελένη και Νίκος περπατούσαν αργά μέσα στην κατεστραμμένη πόλη.
En: Eleni and Nikos walked slowly through the ruined city.

El: Κάθε βήμα ήταν δύσκολο αφού το χιόνι τα κάλυπτε όλα.
En: Each step was difficult as the snow covered everything.

El: Η Ελένη ήταν δυνατή.
En: Eleni was strong.

El: Ήξερε πως πρέπει να βρουν προμήθειες.
En: She knew they had to find supplies.

En: Nikos nodded, though his eyes showed worry.

El: Ήταν προσεκτικός και φοβόταν τους ληστές και τις παγίδες της πόλης.
En: He was cautious and feared robbers and the city's traps.

El: Περπατούσαν για ώρες.
En: They walked for hours.

El: Οι καταστραμμένοι δρόμοι φαινόταν ατελείωτοι, τα κτίρια καμένα και παραμελημένα.
En: The destroyed streets seemed endless, the buildings burned and neglected.

El: Κάποια στιγμή, είδαν ένα παλιό νοσοκομείο.
En: At some point, they saw an old hospital.

El: "Εδώ θα βρούμε φάρμακα," είπε η Ελένη.
En: "We will find medicine here," Eleni said.

El: Ο Νίκος αναστέναξε.
En: Nikos sighed.

El: "Είναι επικίνδυνο," είπε διστακτικά.
En: "It's dangerous," he said hesitantly.

El: Αλλά δεν είχε επιλογή· έπρεπε να την ακολουθήσει.
En: But he had no choice; he had to follow her.

El: Η Ελένη μπήκε πρώτη.
En: Eleni entered first.

El: Οι διάδρομοι ήταν σκοτεινοί και κρύοι.
En: The corridors were dark and cold.

El: Το πάτωμα ήταν γεμάτο συντρίμμια.
En: The floor was covered in debris.

El: Προχώρησαν αργά, ψάχνοντας για το ιατρείο.
En: They proceeded slowly, searching for the clinic.

El: Τότε άκουσαν θορύβους.
En: Then they heard noises.

El: Ληστές!
En: Robbers!

El: Η καρδιά της Ελένης χτυπούσε δυνατά.

En: Nikos pulled her behind a wall.

En: The robbers were approaching.
