This week on the Exciting & New podcast, Jason, Andy and Dana discuss the 1984 Alfred Hitch....no, wait, the Brian DePalma noir thriller Body Double.  Fresh off of Scarface, DePalma used all his new clout and decided he wanted to rip off Alfred Hitchcock, but make it more sexy (?).  Bill Maher apparently wasn't avalible, so they got some dude who looked just like him, to perv around a fresh faced Melanie Griffith.  There is not a lot to like about this movie.  They took all the things we liked about Rear Window and Vertigo and sleazed them up.  But not sexy sleaze.  Just gross.   One high point is the "Relax" video from Frankie Goes to Hollywood that is filmed durning the middle of this movie.  Weird.  Hate watch the movie then love listen to the podcast.  Enjoy.
