Welcome to the Badass Babes of Entertainment! On our eleventh episode of season 2, we interviewed Joelle Onukwubiri. As a public relations professional with over 5 years of experience, Joelle Onukwubiri has built an impressive set of skills within the communications industry. Specializing in media relations, strategic planning, and crisis management, Joelle has effectively serviced a diverse set of clients that operate in the entertainment, non-profit, lifestyle, technology, and government industry among many others, helping to bring to life stories from a vast assortment of backgrounds.

Joelle has built and fostered strong relationships with trade, broadcast, and print reporters to secure coverage for clients in top-tier publications. Joelle is an expert at developing and executing high-level, comprehensive communications strategies, providing oversight for clients across many industries. Additionally, Joelle works directly with outlets, companies, and individuals to help support client’s media campaigns, simultaneously assisting in building their reputation within their respective field. Born and raised in Maryland, Joelle obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, double majoring in Media & Communications and American Studies as well as minoring in History.

Currently, Joelle is a publicist at Persona PR. She resides in Los Angeles, California.
