Lv: Reiz senā, brīnumaina vasaras diena, Rundāles pilī notika nebijuši notikumi.
En: On a splendid summer day in Rundāle Palace, unprecedented events took place.

Lv: Aldis, viens no pils muzeja gidiem, sagatavoja kārtējo ekskursiju smalkajiem tūristiem.
En: Aldis, one of the museum guides, was preparing another tour for the sophisticated tourists.

Lv: Tas bija patiesi saules skarts rīts – debesis bija tīras kā ezera ūdens, un saule spīdēja spēcīgi, mirdzot pilij kā dārgakmeņu kastei.
En: It was a truly sun-kissed morning— the sky was as clear as lake water, and the sun shone brightly, gleaming on the palace like a treasure chest.

Lv: Tikmēr ārpus pils, Inese, jauna un izsmalcināta dāma, ar eleganci soļoja prom no savas automašīnas.
