Story Transcript:

Ja: 午後三時、太陽がまだ空に高くあります。
En: At three in the afternoon, the sun is still high in the sky.

Ja: 渋谷のスクランブル交差点は、人々であふれています。
En: The Shibuya scramble crossing is overflowing with people.

Ja: ユキは友達を待っています。
En: Yuki is waiting for friends.

Ja: ユキは青いシャツを着ています。学校の宿題について考えています。
En: She is wearing a blue shirt and thinking about her school homework.

Ja: 「ハルトはどこ？」ユキは心配しています。
En: "Where is Haruto?" Yuki is worried.

Ja: ハルトはいつも遅れます。
En: Haruto is always late.

Ja: そして、アイコもまだ来ていません。
En: And Aiko hasn't arrived yet either.

Ja: 突然、ユキの携帯が鳴ります。
En: Suddenly, Yuki's phone rings.

Ja: アイコからのメッセージです。
En: It's a message from Aiko.

Ja: 「ごめん。少し遅れるよ。」
En: "Sorry. I'll be a little late."

Ja: ユキはため息をつきます。
En: Yuki sighs.

Ja: 「大丈夫。」と返信します。そして待ち続けます。
En: She replies, "It's okay." and continues to wait.

Ja: 五分後、ハルトが走ってきます。
En: Five minutes later, Haruto comes running.

Ja: 赤い帽子をかぶっています。
En: He is wearing a red hat.

Ja: 「遅れてごめん！」ハルトは息を切らしています。
En: "Sorry I'm late!" Haruto is out of breath.

Ja: ユキは笑います。
En: Yuki laughs.

Ja: 「いつもね。」
En: "As usual."

Ja: 二人は交差点の近くのカフェに入ります。
En: The two enter a café near the crossing.

Ja: アイコを待ちながら、コーヒーを注文します。
En: They order coffee while waiting for Aiko.

Ja: また五分後、アイコがやって来ます。
En: Another five minutes later, Aiko arrives.

Ja: ピンクのスカートを履いています。
En: She is wearing a pink skirt.

Ja: 「ごめんね、遅れちゃった！」
En: "Sorry I'm late!"

Ja: 「大丈夫だよ。」ユキとハルトは笑顔です。
En: "It's okay." Yuki and Haruto smile.

Ja: 三人は一緒に話し始めます。
En: The three begin to chat together.

Ja: 「数学の宿題は難しいね。」ハルトが言います。
En: "The math homework is tough." Haruto says.

Ja: 「うん、でも頑張ろう。」アイコが答えます。
En: "Yeah, but let's do our best." Aiko replies.

Ja: 三人は宿題について話し合います。
En: The three of them discuss their homework.

Ja: すぐに夕方が訪れます。
En: Evening soon approaches.

Ja: 太陽が沈みます。
En: The sun sets.

Ja: 渋谷の交差点はまだ賑やかです。
En: The Shibuya crossing is still bustling.

Ja: 「また明日会おうね。」ユキが言います。
En: "Let's meet again tomorrow." Yuki says.

Ja: 「うん、また明日！」ハルトとアイコもそれに同意します。
En: "Yeah, see you tomorrow!" Haruto and Aiko agree.

Ja: 三人はカフェを出て、それぞれの家に帰ります。
En: The three leave the café and head to their respective homes.

Ja: 友達と過ごした楽しい時間に、心が温かくなります。
En: Their hearts are warmed by the enjoyable time spent with friends.

Ja: 渋谷のスクランブル交差点には、まだたくさんの人がいます。
En: The Shibuya scramble crossing is still crowded.
