Nl: Lucht zo koud, je kon het bijna vastpakken.
En: The air was so cold, you could almost touch it.

Nl: Lotte en Pieter waren in Amsterdam.
En: Lotte and Pieter were in Amsterdam.

Nl: Ze waren uit hun warme huis gekomen om te fietsen.
En: They had left their warm house to go cycling.

En: But oh dear!

Nl: De wind blies zo hard.
En: The wind was blowing so hard.

Nl: Ze konden bijna niet vooruit komen.
En: They could hardly move forward.

Nl: Lotte had een rode muts op.
En: Lotte was wearing a red hat.

Nl: Ze was klein maar dapper.
En: She was small but brave.

Nl: Pieter was groter.
