Sl: Matej je z navdušenjem gledal na Bledsko jezero.
En: Matej watched Lake Bled with excitement.

Sl: Vetrič je pihal skozi njegove lase, ko je govoril Ani, "Poglej, kako lepo je!
En: A breeze blew through his hair as he said to Ana, "Look how beautiful it is!"

Sl: "Ana je nasmejana prikimala.
En: Ana nodded with a smile.

Sl: "Ja, res je čudovito.
En: "Yes, it’s really wonderful.

Sl: Zakaj ne bi najela čolna?
En: Why don’t we rent a boat?"

Sl: "Tako sta šla do bližnje hišice in najela veslaški čoln.
En: So they went to a nearby shack and rented a rowing boat.

Sl: Dobila sta vesla in Matej je stopil v čoln.
En: They got the oars, and Matej stepped into the boat.

Sl: Potem je pomagal Ani, da je vstopila.
En: Then he helped Ana to get in.

Sl: "Pripravljena?
En: "Ready?"

Sl: " je vprašal Matej.
En: Matej asked.

Sl: "Da, pojdimo!
En: "Yes, let's go!"

Sl: " je rekla Ana.
En: Ana said.

Sl: Ampak kaj hitro sta ugotovila, da nihče od njiju ne zna veslati.
En: But they quickly realized that neither of them knew how to row.

Sl: Matej je začel veslati močno na eno stran, Ana pa na drugo.
En: Matej started rowing hard on one side, while Ana rowed on the other.

Sl: Čoln je začel krožiti.
En: The boat began to spin.

Sl: "Zakaj se vrtimo?
En: "Why are we spinning?"

Sl: " je presenečeno vprašala Ana.
En: Ana asked in surprise.

Sl: Matej je poskušal veslati nazaj, toda to ni pomagalo.
En: Matej tried to row backward, but it didn't help.

Sl: Ana je poskušala dogovoriti, toda čoln se je še vedno vrtel.
En: Ana tried to coordinate with him, but the boat still spun.

Sl: Ko so to opazili ljudje na obali, so se začeli smejati.
En: People on the shore began to laugh when they noticed.

Sl: "Vesla na isti strani!
En: "Oars on the same side!"

Sl: " je zavpil starejši gospod z obale.
En: shouted an older gentleman from the shore.

Sl: Ana in Matej sta se spogledala in se začela smejati.
En: Ana and Matej looked at each other and started laughing.

Sl: "Kaj točno to pomeni?
En: "What exactly does that mean?"

Sl: " je vprašala Ana.
En: Ana asked.

Sl: Starejši gospod je pokazal z rokami.
En: The older gentleman gestured with his hands.

Sl: Matej je poskusil slediti navodilom.
En: Matej tried to follow the instructions.

Sl: Ana je poskušala prav tako.
En: Ana tried too.

Sl: Čoln se je premaknil v ravni liniji za trenutek, nato pa so se spet začeli vrteti.
En: The boat moved in a straight line for a moment, then they started spinning again.

Sl: Ampak vseeno, smejala sta se kot otroka.
En: But still, they laughed like children.

Sl: Ljudje na obali so dajali več nasvetov.
En: People on the shore gave more advice.

Sl: "Počasi in usklajeno," je povedala mlada žena.
En: "Slow and steady," a young woman said.

Sl: "Naj en vodi, drugi sledi.
En: "Let one lead, the other follow."

Sl: "Matej in Ana sta se spogledala, saj sta znova poskusila.
En: Ana and Matej looked at each other as they tried again.

Sl: Matej je začel voditi, veslal je počasi in enakomerno.
En: Matej started leading, rowing slowly and steadily.

Sl: Ana je sledila.
En: Ana followed.

Sl: Po nekaj poskusih se je čoln končno premaknil naprej.
En: After a few tries, the boat finally moved forward.

Sl: "Smo uspel!
En: "We did it!"

Sl: " je zavpila Ana.
En: Ana shouted.

Sl: "Končno!
En: "Finally!"

Sl: " je dodal Matej.
En: added Matej.

Sl: Oba sta se nasmehnila in občudovala razgled na jezero Bled.
En: They both smiled and admired the view of Lake Bled.

Sl: Takrat sta se spet ustavila.
En: Then they stopped again.

Sl: "Se zmeniva, naslednjič še malo vadiva?
En: "Agreed, we'll practice some more next time?"

Sl: " je predlagal Matej.
En: Matej suggested.

Sl: "Seveda," je odgovorila Ana.
En: "Of course," replied Ana.

Sl: "Ampak danes naj pomalicava ob vodi.
En: "But for today, let's have a snack by the water."

Sl: "Čoln sta pripeljala nazaj do obale.
En: They brought the boat back to the shore.

Sl: Spet sta se smejala, ko sta izstopila in se zahvalila vsem, ki so jima pomagali.
En: They laughed again as they got out and thanked everyone who helped them.

Sl: Dan se je počasi zaključil.
En: The day slowly came to an end.

Sl: Matej in Ana sta sedela na klopci in jedla malico.
En: Matej and Ana sat on a bench and ate their snack.

Sl: Jezero je bilo mirno in sonce je počasi zahajalo, razlivajoč zlato svetlobo po vodi.
En: The lake was calm, and the sun slowly set, spreading a golden light over the water.

Sl: "To je bil res poseben dan," je rekla Ana.
En: "This has been a really special day," Ana said.

Sl: "Ja, res je," je odgovoril Matej.
En: "Yes, it has," Matej replied.

Sl: "In naslednjič bova še boljša mornarja.
En: "And next time we’ll be even better sailors."

Sl: "Oba sta se smehljala in uživala v trenutku.
En: They both smiled and enjoyed the moment.
