In this week’s podcast, I’m sharing with you the 5 reasons why I believe it’s imperative to invest in yourself and in your own personal development in order to grow and future-proof your business.
I’m a massive believer in the fact that as business owners you should never stop learning, gaining new skills and finding new ways to do things, to think differently, to continuously be looking to improve what you’re doing and to add more value.
I talk about:
For me, investing in your own personal development allows you to stay interested and keep that spark alive. It’s a great way to fuel your passion for your business and a fabulous way to get out and meet new people, meet up with your connections, your network, your friends or clients and strengthen those relationships. There's just so much that can come out of this.

I’m a massive believer in the fact that as business owners you should never stop learning, gaining new skills and finding new ways to do things, to think differently, to continuously be looking to improve what you’re doing and to add more value.
I talk about:
- The need to keep up-to-date with your skills and your knowledge, to make sure that you're staying relevant as a business.
- Making sure you are adding value to your clients, that you're doing a good job and doing what you say you're going to do.
- Your Reputation. Your credibility as a business and being that business owner that is always looking to improve and provide the best service.
- How important it is to widen your skill set to extend your products or services and offer further value to your clients.
- The JOY factor. There's something special about learning new skills or gaining insights, and understanding how things work. Striving to be the best at something or challenging yourself to question how you do things? Is there a better way or could you add more value?
For me, investing in your own personal development allows you to stay interested and keep that spark alive. It’s a great way to fuel your passion for your business and a fabulous way to get out and meet new people, meet up with your connections, your network, your friends or clients and strengthen those relationships. There's just so much that can come out of this.
