¿yo?".
This line from Adrian M. stayed with me for days: whoever is born once dies twice, and whoever is born twice dies once. I thought death was the end of the body; here I understood that the one that matters is the second, being separated from God. That is why Jesus pressed Nicodemus so hard. What is that second death, and how do you avoid it? It is all in the full episode: Season 3, Episode 1, "Born again… me?".
Y ahora qué, Now What, podcast cristiano, Christian podcast, temporada 3, season 3, Nacer de nuevo, born again, Nicodemo, Nicodemus, Juan 3, John 3, nuevo nacimiento, new birth, Jesús, Jesus, fe, faith, Adrian M., Biblia, Bible, segunda muerte, second death

Now What · Temporada 3, Episodio 1Pasajes: Juan 3:1-8 · Marcos 1:1-3 y 14-15 · Hechos 2:36-38 · Hechos 4:12 · 2 Corintios 5:10 · Malaquías 4
I used to think being born again was for people who are far from God. In this conversation with Adrian M. I discovered that Jesus said it to Nicodemus, a teacher of the law who knew the Scriptures by heart. If He told him "you must be born again", where does that leave you and me?
This is what I took with me:• Born once, you die twice. Born twice, you die only once.• Today Jesus is not Judge, He is Savior. But the time of grace will end.• Going to church every Sunday gives me a religion. Salvation is an encounter with my Creator.• When the crowd asked "what shall we do?", Peter did not answer "nothing". He said: repent, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and you will receive the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38).• My words do not impress God. He wants obedience and a sincere heart.
And I kept one very simple piece of advice: if all the religions out there have you confused, tell God exactly that, in your own words. He made you and He knows how to speak to you.

¿yo?".
Nicodemus knew the Scriptures by heart, and he still came at night, in secret, to ask one question. That is what shook me most in this conversation with Adrian M.: you can know a lot about God and never have had an encounter with Him. Jesus did not take the compliments, He went straight to it: you must be born again. And if He said that to a teacher of the law, where does that leave you and me?
