The beautiful author speaks to me about her son Teddy, her life, her mum, reasons for starting her blog and how she found writing her book 'Ask Me His Name.' I could have spoken to her for hours about anything from scrunchies to the meaning of life. I hope you enjoy the conversation as much as I did (TRIGGER WARNING: We do talk about baby loss and so at this time this may not be a conversation for you to hear right now) and yes I got to meet Boris and he is just as amazing in real life!!!

We talk about her quest to change the system and bring racial equality to our world. Her work is not limited to bringing equality to people of colour but to stand for people who are in need. Yazzie asks us to stand out of our privilege for one minute and help those around us because by doing so this world is a better place. Yazzie brings understanding to the subject of race and what white privilege is and why people tend to be confused about the topic. It was a pleasure to have her on the podcast, so get a cup of tea and a cookie and have a listen.
