14 GIU 2024 · Jesus is the better high priest who lives to intercede for his people. In our attempts to justify ourselves by seeking to defend our innocence, we can forget that there is one who offers a perfect plea for guilty sinners before God. Jesus speaks a better word on behalf of sinners to the Father, so accept the ministry of the Son.  Scripture to be read:  Hebrews 7:20-28

3 GIU 2024 · In the midst of earthly rulers and authorities, the Lord reigns from Heaven. It is a good thing that the Lord rules over the earth, for he has set his Son as King! Life and freedom will not be found when we set ourselves against HIS authority, but only when we set ourselves under the reign of King Jesus. Scripture to be read:  Psalm 2:1-12

7 MAG 2024 · Description: Seeking glory for ourselves will end in destruction. While it is tempting to exalt ourselves, the glory is only temporary and will come to ruin. Even in uncertain times where evil men exalt themselves, the true God of the Bible is the one who truly is high and lifted up. In the world today, people do well to seek God's glory, for it is when God has all the glory that sinners are truly lifted up! Scripture to be read:  Habakkuk 2:6-20

1 MAG 2024 · Sermon wait for the Lord's answer. In a world filled with uncertainty, it is far easier to trust in ourselves for the right answer. However, it is by faith in Jesus that believers can navigate a difficult world... especially in light of impending judgement. Scripture to be read:  Habakkuk 2:2-5

22 APR 2024 · Scripture to be read:  Habakkuk 1:12-2:1 Sermon Description: What do we do as believers when the answer we are looking for from the Lord doesn’t come? Or, when we get an answer that we did not want or expect? When we are faced with wrongs and injustice, we can always wait on the Lord’s answer… for it is an answer that we can trust.

When we say, "Why O Lord?", we do not always get the answer that we expect. The truth is, his ways do not seem good and just to us at times. Even if his ways do not make sense to us, we can trust him knowing that his ways are truly good and just!

4 APR 2024 · Sermon Description: Through the witness of Scripture, we are invited to come and see the empty tomb along with Mary Magdalene and the disciples! Even though we do not physically see, we see that the risen Jesus is written about so that we may believe! (John 20:31). For it is through believing in the risen Jesus that we have life in his name. Scripture to be read:  John 20:1-10

4 APR 2024 · Sermon Description: At the end of the High Priestly Prayer of Jesus, he prays for the world. Jesus' desire throughout his ministry is that people would believe in him. Jesus' heart for his people now is that they be one so that the world may believe in his name. Scripture to be read:  John 17:20-26
