VPT, Inc. is a global leader in power conversion solutions for use in avionics, military, and space applications. VPT power converters can be found on GPS satellites, the Boeing 787 aircraft, unmanned drone aircraft, and international space missions to Mars, Venus, and beyond, and the company is currently doing business in 35 countries and has a large manufacturing facility in Taiwan. Dr. Sable earned his Masters and PhD in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech and is a member of the International Alumni Board in the College of Engineering and, since 2012, teaches as an Adjunct Professor of Practice in the College.
