6 SET 2026 · 🎙️ EP48｜Who—or What—Do Revelation’s Seven Heads and Ten Horns Represent? Revelation describes one of the strangest images in the Bible: a great red dragon with— seven heads, ** ten horns,** ** and crowns upon its heads.** Then another beast rises from the sea with the same disturbing pattern: seven heads and ten horns. Why? Are these simply apocalyptic monsters? Or are the details themselves meant to communicate something? The Book of Daniel gives an important clue: horns can symbolize kings and ruling powers. If the horns represent authority, then what do the heads represent? And why does the dragon’s tail drag stars from heaven? When these symbols are separated and examined, the vision begins to look less like a fantasy creature and more like— a system of power, leadership, and followers. This interpretation explores the heads, horns, tail, beast, and dragon as symbols of different roles and authorities within an end-times conflict. Then the beast does something crucial: it rises— out of the sea. And Revelation introduces another mysterious period: forty-two months. Why forty-two months? What happens during that period? If the sea represents a chaotic world, the beast represents power, and the heads and horns represent leadership and authority, then the vision may be describing how a destructive system forms, gains influence, targets God’s people, and is ultimately exposed. So perhaps the most important question is not: “What does the dragon look like?” but— “If the dragon is symbolic, what are we actually supposed to recognize?” In this episode, we unpack the seven heads, ten horns, dragon, beast, tail, and forty-two months through the imagery of Daniel and Revelation. 4 SET 2026 · 🎙️ EP47｜Why Are Some People “Sheep” in the Bible—While Others Become “Beasts”? The Bible talks about people— yet strangely, it keeps using animals. Sheep. Oxen. Horses. Dogs. Pigs. Lions. Bears. Leopards. Serpents. Dragons. Even Jesus is called— the Lamb. Why? What if these animals are not merely animals, but images used to describe different spiritual conditions? Scripture warns that human beings, despite their honor, can become like beasts when they lack understanding. That raises an uncomfortable question: Is being human enough—or does Scripture define a true person by something deeper? There also seems to be a striking contrast. On one side: sheep, oxen, and horses. On the other: lions, bears, leopards, serpents, and the dragon. And some who once appeared to belong to God are compared to a dog returning to its vomit or a washed pig returning to the mud. Why such extreme imagery? At the same time, Scripture presents another set of images: the Lamb, ** the white horse,** ** and the rider on the white horse.** When these symbols are placed together, the Bible’s animal imagery begins to look less random. It may be describing knowledge and ignorance, ** faithfulness and betrayal,** ** destruction and salvation.** And the final battle is not fought with human violence. Its weapon is— the Word of God. Others are compared to— fish. But others are described as pigs, dogs, snakes, and even beasts. Why? If “fish” can symbolize people, could the “beasts” of biblical prophecy also reveal something about human beings and human powers? Jesus compared the Kingdom of Heaven to a net cast into the sea. It gathers fish of every kind. But then comes— separation. The good are kept. The bad are thrown away. So the real question may not simply be: “Was I caught in the net?” It may be: “What will I be revealed to be when the separation comes?” Daniel and Revelation repeatedly describe beasts associated with power, conflict, persecution, and domination. And under pressure, people are forced to make choices. Will fear change what you believe? Will comfort make you compromise? Will power determine what you call truth? The story of Noah presents a similar warning. Before the flood, ordinary life continued. Then judgment revealed the difference between those who were prepared and those who were not. In Revelation, the beast with seven heads and ten horns also rises— out of the sea. Why? Is Scripture simply describing an ocean? Or does the “sea” represent something much larger? Then Revelation introduces another sea. But this one is completely different: the Sea of Glass. One sea is associated with beasts, conflict, and chaos. The other stands before the throne of God— and those standing upon it are the ones who have overcome the beast. The contrast is striking: Sea → Beast → Chaos → Conflict but Sea of Glass → Overcomers → God’s Throne And this imagery goes even further back. When Moses led Israel out of Egypt, they encountered another sea: the Red Sea. Pharaoh’s army was behind them. The sea was in front of them. There appeared to be no escape. Then the sea opened. What looked like certain death became a path to deliverance. In this episode, we connect Daniel’s four beasts, Revelation’s beast from the sea, the Sea of Glass, and Israel’s crossing of the Red Sea. Jesus told His disciples: “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” Clearly, Jesus wasn’t simply teaching them how to catch fish. The “fish” pointed to— people. But if the fish represent people, what does the sea represent? And who are the fishermen? In Ezekiel, water flows from the Temple, bringing life wherever it goes. Then something fascinating happens: fish appear. Fishermen appear. And suddenly, the imagery begins to connect: Spring → Water → River → Sea → Fish → Fishermen → Net The spring is the source. The water carries life and truth. The river carries that water outward. The sea contains the fish. And the fishermen cast their nets. But here’s the part we often overlook: Not every fish caught in the net is kept. Jesus described the Kingdom of Heaven as a net cast into the sea, gathering fish of every kind. Then comes a separation— the good are kept, and the bad are thrown away. So perhaps “fishers of men” is about more than simply gathering people. The deeper question is: When the final separation comes, what kind of “fish” will you be? And the story doesn’t end with the water or the fish. Life received is meant to grow, bear fruit, and eventually become a source of life for others. He was talking about— people. But why use fish as the metaphor? To understand the fish, we may first need to understand the water. Throughout Scripture, water flows from a source, becomes a river, and brings life wherever it goes. Jesus said: “Rivers of living water will flow from within them.” If water represents God’s Word and truth, then the spring represents its source. Those who receive that living water do not simply keep it for themselves. It flows outward. Ezekiel describes water flowing from the Temple— and wherever the river goes, life appears. Then something interesting happens: fish appear. And so do fishermen. The imagery begins to connect: Spring → Living Water → River → Sea → Fish → Fishermen If the fish represent people, and the fishermen are those sent to reach them, then “fishers of men” becomes part of a much larger biblical picture. Living water is not meant only to satisfy your own thirst. It flows outward so that other lives can be restored. But Scripture also speaks of a final separation: good fish and bad fish. So perhaps the ultimate question isn’t: “Am I one of the fish?” It is— “When the fish are separated, what kind will I be?” In this episode, we trace the imagery from the Fountain of Life to rivers, fish, fishermen, and spiritual harvest. The Bible speaks of living water, springs, rivers, and the Water of Life. But it also speaks of bitter water and corrupted sources. At Jacob’s well, Jesus told the Samaritan woman: “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.” So perhaps the real question is not: “Are you drinking?” It is: “What source are you drinking from?” A person can consume teaching every day, listen to countless sermons, read endless opinions, and still remain spiritually thirsty. From Genesis to Revelation, Scripture repeatedly speaks of rivers, springs, living water, and the River of the Water of Life. Are these only descriptions of physical water? Or are they pointing to something deeper? Jesus also washed His disciples’ feet. But what if the real cleansing was never simply about removing dirt from the body? Scripture describes a specific group who are able to understand and sing this song. Why? If the New Song were simply music, why would only certain people be able to learn it? Revelation also describes people who overcome the beast, its image, and the number of its name. They stand beside the sea of glass and sing the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb. But what if these songs represent more than music? What if they point to God’s commands, prophecy, and the testimony of prophecy fulfilled? Then the “New Song” may represent something that can only be understood when what was foretold finally becomes reality. But there is another requirement. Those prepared for the wedding of the Lamb are clothed in— fine linen, bright and clean. And Revelation explains that the fine linen represents the righteous deeds of the saints. So the real question is not: “Can you sing the song?” It is: Have you overcome? Have you understood? And has that truth changed the way you live? In this episode, we explore the New Song, the overcomers, and the wedding garment of Revelation.
