Being successful doesn’t make things any easier? Ever been more #successfulsolo, than any other time in your life? And Independence is so much sweeter when you can take 100% of how far you’ve come in life. But oh heavens, adding successful + independence... = what’s the point again? What’s the point of dating with a purpose? Or what’s the benefit of re-marrying after 40? Why move into someone else’s home, when you have YOUR OWN? Why the hell is that? And what the hell is an “entanglement?” How are we claiming to be adults, but act so immature?
So many questions... but just our truths!!

How many likes is HE getting? I wonder who is in HER DMs? Keep your private life private. But how? Not everyone is privy to all of your personal victories, or defeats, hurts or loves.. Fuck validation online from people who don’t matter. Those that need to know… do, and that’s all that matters.

It’s scary sometimes about all the “what if” moments that might run through your mind when you decide to merge families or what others might refer to as blend families. What if they don’t like the significant other? What if they don’t like the significant other’s kids? Should your significant other meet your ex? How can we protect and/or respect the feelings of our children while still putting ourselves first? After all, eventually kids leave, you are are… the last person standing. Question is… are you standing by yourself because you are too concerned with your child’s opinion, or standing with the mate of your choice?! You decide!?!
