20 AGO 2022 · We have split our chat with USA and Coventry Bees legend Rick Miller into two parts as there was so much to cover.
In part 1 we find out about the formative years going from BMX to motocross then speedway and racing with Ole Olsen to his first World Final in 1990 at Odsal.

6 AGO 2022 · Myself and Lynne were joined with fans of Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Smederna in Sweden - Ruth Hannah, Elliott Hunt and Cornelia Blomberg. We covered a lot of ground with some of the major talking points of the season including the British Final, guest usage, Speedway of Nations etc.
The second part is to follow next week which will include predictions for the top 3 at the British GP in Cardiff.

23 LUG 2022 · It was great meeting Plymouth Gladiator and Kent Royal star Alfie Bowtell. Alfie talked about positivity around the sport, the mad dash from racing to be there for the birth of his child, help from Andrew Silver and other topics. We wish him well, he is in good form and could be about to break into heat leader form in the Championship the way he is going.

2 LUG 2022 · We had a good chat with Belle Vue asset and Birmingham reserve James Pearson and found out about his career so far.
He described the lifestyle of a young man travelling to the other side of the globe and having different bases in different countries with some goodwill shown by families helping him out. He talked of his influences and about the profile/branding side of the sport with his distinctive pink colouring on his race gear. Top talk!

25 GIU 2022 · We met one of the people charged with putting Danish speedway back on the map and more popular as a sport in Denmark. Former rider and film director Joachim Nielsen.
Many parallels with the issues facing speedway in Britain and it was nice to focus on the future of the sport and compare notes - acknowledging that we are talking together about one of the most exciting and dangerous sports on the planet.

18 GIU 2022 · We caught up with James in a period of recovery from a bad hand/finger injury sustained recently at Redcar.
He talked about his hunger to race and his support set-up with his dad as mechanic and about how to improve as a young rider.
Also an actor, there’s more than meets the eye. James was unable to join by video but his voice carries fine on the recording.
