24 MAR 2021 · Since 1980 Peter John Montgomery has been enthralling fans with his unique commentary style bringing to life the America's Cup and with it a sport most of us know little about yet are captivated by its beauty. The 36th America's Cup was PJ's 13th event. In that time, he has seen the evolution in sailing unfold before his very eyes. PJ is the final episode of the Superior Sailor Series after being inducted into the America's Cup Hall of Fame. D'Arcy Waldegrave sat down with the 'Voice of the America's Cup' Peter Montgomery. 10 MAR 2021 · At just the tender age of 28, kiwi sailor Bianca Cook embarked on the journey of a lifetime.  As a member of the Turn the Tide on Plastic team, Bianca sailed around the world competing in the Volvo Ocean Race. With an eye on leading an all-New Zealand crew in the next edition of the famous race, Bianca Cook has hundreds of thousands of sailing miles under her belt despite being so young. 3 MAR 2021 · Brad Butterworth was the tactician that brought the America’s Cup to New Zealand. After Team New Zealand defended the America’s Cup at the turn of the century, Butterworth along with compatriot Sir Russell Coutts, were lambasted by the public and media for turning their backs on Aotearoa when they signed with swiss syndicate Alinghi. Brad Butterworth has been involved in sailing around the world at many levels. He is one of New Zealand’s finest sailing exports and joined D’Arcy Waldegrave for Episode Six of The Superior Sailor Series. LISTEN ABOVE

24 FEB 2021 · When you hear the name Dennis Conner the first thing that comes to mind is the America's Cup. The sometimes-brash American has a long connection with the Auld Mug, so much so his nickname is Mr. America’s Cup. His determination, trickery and shear skill on and off the water has seen him win 28 World Championships, 4 America’s Cup victories, twice around the world and an Olympic medal. Conner hasn't always had the public on his side, especially here in Aotearoa but love him or loath him he will remain a legend in sailing for many years to come.
