Unfathomable. As we roll into the new season we thought what better way to celebrate than with a bit of discourse on the very concept of what woman truly are. The witch embodies everything and nothing that takes claim over her all at once. We deconstruct the ideologies that created “The Witch” and share what our own beliefs of who they are and what they truly mean. This episode isn’t spooky in the slightest but it is every bit dark and telling. So join us on The Other Side to find all the magic and alluring truth to who witches really are.

As hispanics, we dive into our life stories of mixed race from native american ancestry to our ties with the European race. Our names. Our families. Our customs. Our beliefs. They’ve all been a product of being mestizos (mixed race) and our identity as latinxs. We go over topics such as colorism, racism, and other social aberrations that have shaped the world that we live in today. The very two languages that we speak as latinxs is English and Spanish. Both colonial tongues. So join us for this episode on The Other Side and see if perhaps you can relate with us about a thing or two about our past, future, and perhaps even the present. 20 SET 2021 · It’s the episode you’ve all been waiting for. Dreams. We kick off this spooky season with an eerie dialogue about where our minds and bodies go when we are unconscious. Dreams have king since been an anomaly to science and still isn’t wholly understood today. Things like lucid dreaming, sleep paralysis, night terrors, daydreams, fever dreams, and even astral projecting are some of the most popular modes of experience when it comes to our R.E.M. sleep. Join us this week as we open up to some of our past experiences with dreams and how even fainting (unconsciousness) has even given us a new perspective on dreaming, overall. 12 AGO 2021 · Welcome back to The Other Side with a fantastically mushy topic this week! We go deep into the inner machinations and beauty that is of fungi. Fungus, as you all know is that moldy, fuzzy stuff that grows on your old veggies and on athletes’ feet. But fungi (plural for fungus), comes in many shapes, colors, and sizes. It’s most famously recognized as the Mushroom. Those beautiful, gilly, toadstools that beg us all to marvel at it’s mushy beauty on a tree stump or just sitting in the backyard. Mushrooms go as far back as the dawn of humanity. Some might even say, mushrooms, were the cause - for - humanity. With its ties into celestial and otherworldly influences on the early people who journeyed to the gods and higher self. From folklore and fairies to food and mycophiles, fungi has always been at the center of all our lives. We share a substantial amount of body makeup with them, after all. Join us this week as we venture into what’s what with this mysterious phenomena we know and love, as mushrooms. Rooney Mara, Amy Adams, Olivia Wilde, and even Chris Pratt! this film is stacked. We take a step into the near future and follow along with the serene friendship and love that is of both Theodore and Samantha. Granted, she is an OS and Theodore is a hopeless romantic who writes letters for strangers for a living and is battling through a depressive divorce, both Sam and Theodore find refuge in their own little world. Join us this week on The Other Side as we talk about the synopsis, our theory on the title, lessons learned, the beautiful soundtrack performed by Arcade Fire, it’s unique spin on alternative relationships, and why this movie will stand the test of time. 🔆

Could there ever be a limit to expressing yourself to others or perhaps a healthier way that doesn’t send someone spiraling into oblivion when you start crying or venting??? In this episode, we break down more what the gender binary is and what it means to identify as NB. The do’s, the dont’s, the truth, the misconceptions, how to approach it, how to accept it, and what it all really means. 26 GIU 2021 · Surprise❣️ We’re back with a new episode this week because it’s #pride and there’s no time to lose❣️ As we’ve reached the end of this Mercury Retrograde, we hope everyone’s had time to reflect on what it is that makes them happy. Pride is all about exploring who you are, after all. Last week we discussed the ideologies of feminine and masculine while breaking down the construct that is ‘Gender’. This week we move into the spectrum of sexual orientation and romantic desire. Unlike Gender, these two topics are things that we are born with and come to us all naturally. Everyone has a preference for #love and sex. That orientation can be monogamy, polygamy, open, or no interest at all. And #sexuality has an even more vast array of types such as pansexual, homosexual, demisexual, asexual, to name a few. Join us this week of Pride as we discuss this spectrum of love and desire.
