14 MAR 2022 · We had a great conversation with Dan Burkard Founder MENU and Co-Creator of @wickedtasty on The Metro Buzz. We talked about many things from business, family, sacrifices, doing the right thing as a business owner, he told some great stories to a whole lot more! MENU, a digital platform helping restaurants boost sales using photos and digital menus is expanding into the following cities below and introducing their technology tools to new markets across the Southeast. With this expansion, MENU will be releasing a new user interface to simplify their partners' menu management experience and improve guest-facing menus. The backend of the platform will offer a new item management dashboard, allowing restaurants to make updates to their menu from one screen with minimal clicks. The frontend QR menu display will have an upgrade to their unique "picture first" menu to feature larger images and show more of the pictures. Dan Burkard, Founder of MENU and Co-Creator of @wickedtasty says, “As we release new features based on feedback from our current partners and their in-house guests, we are targeting new cities that mirror the demographic and business profile of Nashville. We talked about family, business, building a brand, sacrifices, he told some great stories to a whole lot more. He also gave some very sound advice on starting a business! Carey Bringle founded his first restaurant, Peg Leg Porker, in 2013. Peg Leg Porker is named after Bringle himself and his greatest win, a cancer battle that he triumphed at the age of 17. With his win, he lost his leg, which led him to create a new name and only added more fire to his passion for success. Upon opening its doors in the heart of Nashville, Peg Leg Porker was quickly named one of the hottest BBQ Joints in the country by numerous media outlets including Food Network , The Travel Channel, BBC , Southern Living Magazine Texas Monthly, GQ,, Garden & Gun Magazine and many more. 10 GIU 2021 · We had a great conversation with The Gentle Barn Founder Ellie Weiner on The Metro Buzz. We talked about many things from how she got started to what they ate doing today. The Gentle Barn is a national nonprofit organization, founded in 1999 as a sanctuary and place of recovery for severely abused animals and children. The Gentle Barn rescues and rehabilitates animals from severe abuse and neglect who are too old, sick, lame, or scared to be adopted.
