From the beginning, Liz has had a tendency to bend or break rules. She piled up little firsts – being the first Girl Scout to appear in a local parade, and being the first active woman firefighter in her hometown. Basically, if someone says “it hasn’t been done before” or worse “you can’t do that,” it’s a fair bet that Liz will make it happen. That attitude carries over to her politics. While she certainly can complain about what’s going on in the world, it’s rare when Liz has absolutely nothing to suggest to resolve an issue. (If she doesn’t have a clue how to “fix” something, she tends to not talk about it at all in the first place.)
