Joe acknowledged the start of the NBA season, and questioned why the NHL would have all 32 teams play on Tuesday night against the NBA opening night.
MLB is looking to find a home for the Tampa Bay Rays in the event Tropicana Field is not ready for Opening Day. Joe mentions the opinion, but Montreal is out for 2025. But Joe foresees issues with the MLBPA.
Joe veered away from the sports world looking at an article about Gen-Z workers have been getting fired. But Joe brings some sports twists to the 14 reasons why bosses have been letting the Gen-Z workforce go.
Tampa Bay got a major hit to their offense with two key WR injuries and then some ramblings to end the show.

28 APR 2024 · On this special Sunday show: Joe wanted to make up for cancelling on Thursday, but Joe forgets why he did (he’s getting old people! lol)
Sixers lost to the Knicks today, and Joe said neither team could shoot straight down the stretch. Not surprised by this loss. Jalen Brunson had a huge game for the Knicks in a series that had the feel of an Eastern Conference final, not a first round matchup.
Eagles drafted Quinyon Mitchell from Toledo and looks like he will be a stud defensive back for the Eagles. The shocker of the draft was Michael Penix going to Atlanta at #8. Then Joe played the video of Eagles calling Jeremiah Trotter Jr., the son of Eagles legendary LB Jeremiah Trotter. Joe got emotional watching the video he played when he first saw it.
Joe questioned is there any team that has such an insane advantage in another team’s ballpark like the Phillies do at San Diego’s Petco Park. Phillies won the first 2 games of the series there against the Padres (and did win on Sunday as well).
