He attempted to circumvent democracy in order to stay in power. This is not the Soviet Union, its the United States of America with a Constitution that does not allow cheaters to stay in office.

23 GEN 2021 · Protestors at the White House on January 6, 2021 turned into rioters at the Capitol in attempt to corrupt democracy failed. Somewhere along the way they did not read the Constitution and clearly disregarded the electoral process. Bottom line they were mad because they lost. It only got some of them fired, arrested, jailed, and looking at some federal jail time in the end.

17 GEN 2021 · Historians will view President Donald J Trump as the worst President in history to have been impeached twice. The insurrection at the US Capitol was the last straw to break the camel's back. He will go to any length to steal an election. Lives were threaten and lost to the attack of what democracy stands for. I believe he will be convicted by the Senate and will not ever be able to hold Federal Office again.
