My faith didn’t fall apart—it outgrew the framework I was given.
I started as a Bible-alone, non-denominational Christian with a real hunger for truth. I believed Scripture was enough—and that everything else was man-made tradition. But over time, questions started stacking up.
Why do sincere, Spirit-filled believers read the same Bible and come to completely different conclusions? And why does Church history feel like an afterthought in the very faith that preserved the Scriptures?
The Crossheirs is where I started asking those questions honestly—not to win arguments, but to understand what’s actually true.
The kind of questions that challenged my assumptions, exposed blind spots, and forced me to reexamine traditions I was taught to avoid—especially the Catholic Church.

Perhaps the most infamous feud in the history of the U.S., the The Hatfield–McCoy conflict is now an icon of American folklore. The Hatfields, of West Virginia, were led by William Anderson "Devil Anse" Hatfield. The McCoys, of Kentucky, were under the leadership of Randolph "Ole Ran'l" McCoy.
