With more than 25 years of experience in image consulting and public relations, Armstrong enjoys helping people “be their best, by looking and feeling their best” in body and spirit by advising about skincare, makeup, grooming, overall personal appearance, presentation skills, and job readiness training, she also teaches in the Fashion Department at City College of San Francisco. She has a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Music Business Management.
Working in the underserved Bayview Hunter’s Point neighborhood in San Francisco, Armstrong is the Founder of the Primed & Prepped: A Hospitality Management/Culinary Arts Mentoring and Job Training Program at the Bayview Hunters Point YMCA. The purpose of the program is to help mitigate the barriers to employment for young males and females of color.
Armstrong has previously served as a Board of Governors with the Recording Academy. She created and co-chaired the Urban Outreach Committee of the Recording Academy (a.k.a. The Grammys), was an inaugural member of KQED’s Community Advisory Panel, and Formerly chaired the PR Committee on San Francisco State University’s Hospitality Management Advisory Board. In addition, she has volunteered with The National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI). Armstrong is married, resides in San Francisco, and has a passion for food, fashion, and music.

About Dr. Gina Fromer
Dr. Gina Fromer has a wealth of leadership experience and deep connections to many communities across the state. She has advocated for families and children her entire life. She says, "It is all about empowering people to advocate for themselves, to create the social justice and social change needed to change the world." Her accomplishments are broad. She was District Vice President of the YMCA and raised over $8.5 million for the Bayview YMCA capital campaign. As the Chief Executive Officer of the Children's Council of San Francisco, she managed a staff of 140+ and oversaw a 236 million dollar budget to support children, families, and early educators. Most recently, she was CEO of the San Francisco Education Fund, directing community volunteer programs, educator grants, and student scholarships to help public school students succeed.
She is currently the President and CEO of Glide Foundation. Dr. Fromer holds a B.S. in Psychology Organizational Leadership from the Dominican University of California, an M.S. in Psychology/Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Development and Leadership from the University of Arizona Global Campus. Celestino was born and raised in San Francisco to immigrant parents—his mother is half Puerto Rican, Filipino from the Philippines, and his father is an Afro-Latino from Panama. In Elementary and Jr High, he attended The Discovery Center School, where he learned academic habits in a college prep environment. Participating in scholastic sports was critical to his overall personal development, which continued in high school and college. He serves as Bayview Hunters Point YMCA's Sports and Recreation Director. Although establishing a successful sports program and experiencing true impact, he felt it was time to be very intentional with his work. In the Summer of 2019, he enrolled in an MBA program at Springfield College, thus beginning the career of creating his dream organization, Urban Student-Athlete Development Academy (USADA). When he received his MBA in Non-Profit Management in December 2020, USADA was fully launched with a small facility and kids in the program.

About Louis Armstrong
Louis Armstrong is a personal trainer and athletic coach. In 2012 he received his accredited certification from the International Sports Science Association. He landed his first job at Bally Total Fitness that same year. Over the years, he has worked at various institutions such as The Perfect Workout, Massage Envy, Skyline College, and 24-Hour Fitness. In 2019 he became self-employed and opened his LLC, Armstrong Training, where he teaches online training, in-home training, and outdoor training/boot camps. He is also an assistant basketball coach for the Men’s Basketball team at Cañada College.
