We talked about why professional counseling is so valuable (hint: it's deeper and more confidential than venting to a friend). Peter shares how counseling isn’t just for tough times—it’s a great tool for growing, healing, and even preventing future struggles. We touched on big topics like anger, identity, and forgiveness, and he gave super practical advice—like checking your thoughts by asking: Is this true? Is it helpful? Is it kind?

18 GIU 2025 · Erica and Pastor Jesse from Grace Community Church sat down for a thoughtful conversation about the current conflict between Israel and Iran, and he brings such a calming, spiritual perspective to it all. He reminds us how important prayer is and shared how Israel becoming a nation again in 1948 fits into the bigger picture of biblical prophecy. There is a spiritual awakening happening in both Israel and Iran, connecting it to passages in Romans and Ezekiel that point toward Jesus’ return. I feel encouraged—grateful for God’s plan, hopeful for what’s to come, and grounded in the reminder that our true citizenship is in heaven.
