Speaking of Sales (SOS)

  • SOS E5: Fernando A Lazano; Paylocity

23 DIC 2021 · Don and John uncover the world of HR today being very unique with this guest. It's not just paper shuffling with ClearView Consulting. A fascinating Episode! About Fernando A. Lazano HCM Account Executive I am a native Tucsonan and have lived here my entire life. I attended Palo Verde Highschool, Pueblo Highschool, and ended up graduating from Aztec Middle College. Continuing my education I had the pleasure of attending the University of Arizona gaining my B.A. in Psychology Cum Laude in 2015. During college, I had the privilege to work for The American Red Cross learning the ins and outs of non-profit organizations. After graduating, I moved to ADP and learned valuable sales and project management skills as well as all of the facets that make up a businesses’ administration. I was with ADP for a little under 4 years managing the Portland Oregon territory. As my career progressed, I wanted to be able to foster connections locally in Tucson so at the end of 2020 I moved to Paylocity a national technology company as the Account Executive over all of Southern Arizona. Paylocity offers flexible, all-in-one solutions tailored to tackle the unique needs of the modern HR and Payroll landscape. • SOS E4: Tom Bowden; Insperity

30 OTT 2021 · This episode introduces Tom Bowden from Insperity, an HR outsourcing company providing a multitude of services including that of a Personnel Employment Organization (PEO). We explored the distinctions and nuances of selling these types of HR services nationally vs the Tucson market specifically. We touch on lead generation with LinkedIn, the importance of personal one on one relationships and the role of referrals going forward. A wonderful, informative discussion for sure! About Tom Bowden  I’m originally from Flint, Michigan. Right after college in 1988, I packed a ryder truck and moved to Phoenix. I started working for the payroll giant ADP when they first started processing payroll in Arizona. We still had some data processing clients who input payroll via greenbar paper, fax, etc. before modems were even a thing. (remember the squeal of a modem dialing into AOL? So, I’ve been in the payroll//HR space for four decades. I recently switched to Insperity after leaving ADP at the beginning of Covid. Insperity offers a broader array of services and has the best client retention in the Industry. Paul Savardi is Insperity’s CEO; he’s our founder who began the company in 1986, starting the Professional Employment Organization (PEO) out of Houston Tx in a one room office. Insperity is now a $4.8 Billion publicly traded corporation. Website: www.insperity.com LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/thomas-bowden-5213463/
