7 GIU 2023 · In this video join Dave Phare & friends in activating the light of the Holy Spirit within. Dave reminds us of the purpose of A Course In Miracles and the experience it is pointing to which is gained through the application of its principles and workbook lessons that are designed to train the mind in a different way of seeing, bringing all forms of fear to light in order to have our mind changed so our relationship to everyone and everything is wholly loving and reflects our true nature.
Dave stresses the importance of being alert to any upset and the temptation to minimize it. We must recognize we ARE upset if we're not wholly at peace and allow any form of fear to rise in our awareness where it can be undone if we are still and don't adjust by seeking some form of distraction or solution in the world. We are reminded that everything we see is a symbolic representation of our relationship with God and all fear under whatever guise we have projected it onto, is fear of God.
Dave talks about the honeymoon period which can often occur with students new to using A Course In Miracles where everything can seem to be rosey and bright for a moment, like the student is being held a moment in a cocoon of grace as they begin to see a new. Like all things of time, the honeymoon phase shall pass and the rollercoaster ride may look a bit like the house of horrors for a moment until many miracle have been experienced and vigilance for the kingdom becomes prevalent. He stresses the impossibility of valuing anything in the world, what is judged as good, bad or ugly without experiencing it's flip side.
The miracle takes us outside of that thought system entirely where true peace and joy abides. He also explains the condition of the mind in forgetting and using the forgetting to help us remember better. Dave also gives vignettes of personal miracles he has experienced throughout his transformation of mind, including being healed of cancer upon the invitation of a brother declaring, "he had no use for it", recognizing it served no purpose. Dave also reminds us EVERYTHING that arises in our mind gives us an opportunity to experience the miracle so transforming our relationship to God from one of fear to LOVE.

In this gathering Dave speaks on the adventures awaiting us all as a result of the recent dropping away of the body of our beloved Ted Poppe, Jr.
He also shares his own varied and many adventures of his awakening; whilst encouraging the practical application of forgiveness and the importance of following guidance as outlined by Jesus in "A Course in Miracles" "Dear One" over and over, offers the reminder and clear example to "Make hay while the Sun shines."

In this gathering, prior to our satsang Dave leads us through the review of the first 50 lessons of ACIM, stressing our responsibility in the activation of the word. This activation...desire, as in all things, is our singular responsibility, "God doesn't fail me, I fail me."
*WB Lesson 20 ACIM *I am determined to see.
During the satsang Dear One reminds us again to be vigilant in applying correction to the misbelief in separation. All things being included and reflections of that desire to be separate needing to be brought back into Oneness.
So, the invitation being to embrace all inner "Karens" and "Unreliable Bastard" as a singular association as myself. Forgive the mind that believes in separation and leave nothing outside of Love.

Getting on the level Jesus needs us to be "So being able to join as we are, with these lessons, it doesn't matter if you're wielding a club or growing wings. These lessons are completely applicable and relevant to you on the level that Jesus needs you to be at. That's it! What He says is good enough for you, IS good enough for you!" ~ Dear One🎤
Lesson 51 1. *Nothing I see means anything.*
The reason this is so is that I see nothing, and nothing has no meaning. ³It is necessary that I recognize this, that I may learn to see. ⁴What I think I see now is taking the place of vision. ⁵I must let it go by realizing it has no meaning, so that vision may take its place.
2. *I have given what I see all the meaning it has for me.* I have judged everything I look upon, and it is this and only this I see. ³This is not vision. ⁴It is merely an illusion of reality, because my judgments have been made quite apart from reality. ⁵I am willing to recognize the lack of validity in my judgments, because I want to see. ⁶My judgments have hurt me, and I do not want to see according to them.
3. *I do not understand anything I see.* How could I understand what I see when I have judged it amiss? ³What I see is the projection of my own errors of thought. ⁴I do not understand what I see because it is not understandable. ⁵There is no sense in trying to understand it. ⁶But there is every reason to let it go, and make room for what can be seen and understood and loved. ⁷I can exchange what I see now for this merely by being willing to do so. ⁸Is not this a better choice than the one I made before?
4. *These thoughts do not mean anything.* The thoughts of which I am aware do not mean anything because I am trying to think without God. ³What I call “my” thoughts are not my real thoughts. ⁴My real thoughts are the thoughts I think with God. ⁵I am not aware of them because I have made my thoughts to take their place. ⁶I am willing to recognize that my thoughts do not mean anything, and to let them go. ⁷I choose to have them be replaced by what they were intended to replace. ⁸My thoughts are meaningless, but all creation lies in the thoughts I think with God.
5. *I am never upset for the reason I think.* I am never upset for the reason I think because I am constantly trying to justify my thoughts. ³I am constantly trying to make them true. ⁴I make all things my enemies, so that my anger is justified and my attacks are warranted. ⁵I have not realized how much I have misused everything I see by assigning this role to it. ⁶I have done this to defend a thought system that has hurt me, and that I no longer want. ⁷I am willing to let it go. Lesson 52 1. (6) *I am upset because I see what is not there.**
Reality is never frightening. ³It is impossible that it could upset me. ⁴Reality brings only perfect peace. ⁵When I am upset, it is always because I have replaced reality with illusions I made up. ⁶The illusions are upsetting because I have given them reality, and thus regard reality as an illusion. ⁷Nothing in God’s creation is affected in any way by this confusion of mine. ⁸I am always upset by nothing.
2. (7) *I see only the past.* As I look about, I condemn the world I look upon. ³I call this seeing. ⁴I hold the past against everyone and everything, making them my enemies. ⁵When I have forgiven myself and remembered Who I am, I will bless everyone and everything I see. ⁶There will be no past, and therefore no enemies. ⁷And I will look with love on all that I failed to see before.
3. (8) *My mind is preoccupied with past thoughts.* I see only my own thoughts, and my mind is preoccupied with the past. ³What, then, can I see as it is? ⁴Let me remember that I look on the past to prevent the present from dawning on my mind. ⁵Let me understand that I am trying to use time against God. ⁶Let me learn to give the past away, realizing that in so doing I am giving up nothing.
4. (9) *I see nothing as it is now.* If I see nothing as it is now, it can truly be said that I see nothing. ³I can see only what is now. ⁴The choice is not whether to see the past or the present; the choice is merely whether to see or not. ⁵What I have chosen to see has cost me vision. ⁶Now I would choose again, that I may see.
5. (10) *My thoughts do not mean anything.* I have no private thoughts. ³Yet it is only private thoughts of which I am aware. ⁴What can these thoughts mean? ⁵They do not exist, and so they mean nothing. ⁶Yet my mind is part of creation and part of its Creator. ⁷Would I not rather join the thinking of the universe than to obscure all that is really mine with my pitiful and meaningless “private” thoughts?

This joining Dave "DearOne bombs" the crews first 50 review meeting and finishes it off in Dear One fashion before launching full speed ahead into this week's Satsang. Prior to our joining's, and as often as we're able, it is encouraged that we come together to review the first 50 lessons. A portion of that joining, that began sans Dear One is shown in this video.
Also, the facilitator of the first 50 review shared at the beginning of this meeting a recollection of a *video by our Dear Brother Teddy Poppe, Jr. expressing the development needed to hear ourselves read and "listen" to the transmission that is given in the WB lessons of ACIM. And the resulting power of either hearing the Truth of ourselves as total, or in the ability to hear the falseness of our own rhetoric. There's power in that realization either way. - The rituals of the god of sickness are strange and very demanding. ²Joy is never permitted, for depression is the sign of allegiance to him. ³Depression means that you have forsworn God. ⁴Many are afraid of blasphemy, but they do not understand what it means. ⁵They do not realize that to deny God is to deny their own Identity, and in this sense the wages of sin _is_ death. ⁶The sense is very literal; denial of life perceives its opposite, as all forms of denial replace what is with what is not. ⁷No one can really do this, but that you can think you can and believe you have is beyond dispute.

*I. Holy Week 1. This is Palm Sunday, the celebration of victory and the acceptance of the truth. ²Let us not spend this holy week brooding on the crucifixion of God’s Son, but happily in the celebration of his release. ³For Easter is the sign of peace, not pain. ⁴A slain Christ has no meaning. ⁵But a risen Christ becomes the symbol of the Son of God’s forgiveness on himself; the sign he looks upon himself as healed and whole.

This Satsang immediately followed, as all of our Satsang's do, with a review of the first 50 lessons of "A Course in Miracles". There was a palpable activation in the room and Dear One encouraged an awareness of the continuous flow of these Light activations and the opportunities to extend as we go about our "busy doings". A reminder was also offered to follow the specific guidance given in "The Course" in the application of these lessons and resist the temptation to work out salvation on our own terms based on past learning and succumb to the denial of the fullness of what's being offered through the application and activation of these lessons.

A little housekeeping with a powerful reminder to rely totally on the Miracle and be willing to let loose our past learnings, our "helpful" rituals, and even including this "Course".

Another powerful moment in this joining around the same topic of letting go of concepts, limitations, and the seeming safety of our own self-defined structures where a determination was stressed...either (be) in or out...right here and right now! In this section he gave a powerfully clear warning to beware, "...there's like this seemingly never-ending brick wall of concepts.". And an even more powerful follow-up to that statement, "The concepts are useful for a moment because they give meaning to the principles (and) The principles are only useful if you apply them. It's the application of principles that brings the result! ...Experience is the teacher and it's experience that we're about here!"🎤
Then the joining fell into a bit of Q&A; from which some powerfully transparent questions flowed; which were met with crystal clear responses and a beautiful personal parable and helpful Q&A.
This was a really dense Satsang that continued straight into our Light Session.
So grateful for the generosity of Dear One and all the willing participants, however as Dave was quick to remind me upon expressing this gratitude to him later... All Thanks be to God!
