27 SET 2019 · I got to talk with Kimiko and Paige from M.A.R.E. Therapeutic Riding Center about their upcoming Diamonds and Denim fundraising gala. This gala helps benefit services that M.A.R.E. uses to assist children, adults, and veterans with physical, emotional, and cognitive challenges. This is a wonderful organization!

6 SET 2019 · I got to talk with Mandie Mazer from Tunnel to Towers, a run and walk to honor our first responders and to benefit the Stephen Siller Foundation. This run/walk helps take care of first responders by providing smart homes and also helps with families of those lost while on the job.

27 AGO 2019 · Ryan Martinez stops by to discuss the Contreras Foundation's tri-annual meeting. This elects new board members and sets plans in motion for what the organization looks to do for future events and educational opportunities.

25 LUG 2019 · I got to talk with Leslie Hernandez and the rest of the young ladies behind Teen for Jeans, who are holding their third annual event to help benefit clothing donations to local youth.

17 LUG 2019 · I got to talk to Patrick Spurlock, one of the hardest working people in Bakersfield. We discussed upcoming art exhibits in town, his work with Phantom Stranger, Inc., as well as the importance of the growing art and music scenes in Kern County.

15 GIU 2019 · I had the pleasure of talking with Cherie Shoemake from Optimal Hospice about their annual kids camp. This camp is for children who have experienced the loss of loved one and is free to attend. The organization continues to do amazing, kind work in the community and this is just one of the ways they are helping.
