9 GEN 2024 · It is an official day to honor those who have lost a loved one to mental illness and suicide. We will come together to encourage and support one another, bring awareness to mental illness, and honor our loved ones who may be gone but will never be forgotten.
We will spread hope and share vital information to people affected by suicide. Our goal is to ensure that individuals, friends, and families have access to the resources they need to discuss suicide prevention and to seek help.
We share this day with our friends, family, and others who have suffered the loss of a loved one by suicide and as NAMI New Jersey says, “You are not alone.”
The unseen pain that goes undiagnosed, dismissed, and stigmatized. The pain has overtaken so many loved ones to the point that they can no longer bear the struggle and sadly causes many to end their lives prematurely.
Friends and family support the grieving ones during their time of tragedy. The fresh memory of the departed ones and the support is comforting. Unfortunately, this support fades over time.
The people around “move on” with their lives and may not fathom why the sadness and pain still exist for the grieving, who continue to relive the tragedy and bear the continuous pain.

27 GEN 2023 · Generally speaking, "We all" experience a mental health condition (Depression, anxiety, stress, etc.) in one form or another," Freeman believes. It resonates with me. In fact, I can tell that if a situation easy too easy for my competencies, I will get bored and I might have dumb behaviors to entertain myself. On the opposite, if a challenge is way above my competencies and necessitates "tools" that I lack, I will get A LOT of performance anxiety (like a lot of people have in their professional careers). The perfect spot is to live a life where you or others are having the right expectations Vs our competencies and our tools where there is a slight challenge and you can either win or lose and in both cases, you will learn. Today I feel free, and happy and never experience loneliness. True self-esteem, self-acceptance, and self-love are natural for the heart It is the internal resistance based on the ignorance of the ego that makes us suffer and prevents the powerful manifestation of blessings.
Help yourself and, consequently, others to overcome that ignorance, find what you are passionate about and be 100% happy with who you are. It is our "flaws" that make us humans. Forgive yourself and accept yourself!
