26 July Paris Olympics - Africa bids for gold - EPL transfers - new managers - football overload
25 LUG 2024 · On this week’s show we focus on the 2024 Paris Olympics, we find out what it’s like in Paris, what to expect, and we look at the men’s and women’s football tournaments as Africa tries for a third gold in the men’s competition.
Also Stuart looks at the transfer moves in the EPL, the new managers, and the latest concerns over there being too much football on the calendar.
19 July - S Africa stop funding superfans - CAF Super Cup back in Saudi - Peter Etebo - Euro 2024
18 LUG 2024 · On this week’s show we look at the South African government’s decision to stop paying for so-called superfans to attend the AFCON and other sports events.
We talk about CAF’s decision to stage the CAF Super Cup in Saudi Arabia for the second year in a row.

5 July Yankuba Minteh + Africans leaving the EPL + Zambian banned by Fifa warns about match fixing
4 LUG 2024 · On this week’s show we talk about Gambia winger Yankuba Minteh’s move to Brighton, making him the most expensive African Under-20 player ever.
We also look at Africans that are leaving the EPL due to non-renewal of contracts, including Joel Matip at Liverpool.
And we focus on the issue of match-fixing and hear from a Zambian, Nchimunya Mweetwa, who was banned by Fifa for three years in a match-fixing scandal, resulting on him missing out on a big move in Europe. Mweetwa now warns other about the dangers of match-fixing.

13 GIU 2024 · On this week’s show we catch up on an exciting week in Fifa World Cup qualifying for Africa, with a shock defeat for Nigeria, a great start for Cameroon’s new coach, an epic win for Ghana over CAR, and great scenes in Juba as South Sudan opened the newly-renovated national stadium in Juba for a big derby match.
