13 GIU 2024 · Join realtor, Anam Hargey, with hosts, Brad Whitesell and Kristin Walker, for an interesting discussion about psychology and the real estate process. Anam grew up knowing she always wanted to work with people and try to help them. This led her to get her Bachelor's in psychology from Loyola University and Master’s in clinical counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Her experience ranges from young adults with severe mental illness to marriage and family counseling. She also spent time in Rwanda working with survivors of the genocide. Once Covid hit, Anam thought it would be fun to get her real estate license as well. In her first year, she ended up being nationally ranked in the top ten Rookie of the Year competition.  By her second year, she started her own team and was in the top 3% of realtors in Chicago. His career started out in broadcasting on traditional radio. He moved to Asheville in 2011 and consider this his "home for life". He obtained his NC Real Estate License/Realtor® designation in 2015 and has over 20 years as a Certified Residential Appraiser. After a successful 2 1/2 year stint with Coldwell Banker I started Whitesell Real Estate Group in 2017 and Peak Property Management in 2023. His ability to wear two “hats” has served him well and gives him a unique perspective on the market.
