22 OTT 2023 · When it comes to podcasting, sometimes I feel like it's an experiment. Sometimes you have to switch around and try new things. You can podcast and just do a show, and now there's a way to podcast socially. When I say socially, I mean you and your friends reply to each other and discuss topics by using the microphone. Sparklip is a good example. Swell is another good example. Sometimes you have to try new ways. Experimenting helps you to know what you can do, and it may help you create something new.
Podcasting can be a big headache. I've got to be honest. That's when you need to tune out what somebody is doing at YouTube and why. What’s happening over here and what's happening over there. Lsten to the news, but don't let the negative sound of things get to you because that is an experiment too. Stay where you are, and you keep doing what you do best. But it's all right to try new platforms, new trend, and whatever works for you because what is best for ysomeone else might not turn out to be the way that you should go.

6 AGO 2023 · Good evening. Today I'm going to talk about Internet radio and streaming. Some of you might wonder what audio streaming is. Well it is done over the Internet, and you can listen to the audio without downloading. When you listen to Apple Music or Spotify you are listening to a streaming service.
When you podcast audio can be download or streamed for listening.
Internet radio involves streaming. The audio cannot be paused or replayed but you can record your broadcast and share it later. I've tried Internet radio just to get some more experience. I see no point in streaming when you want people to hear your show & not miss it. You can schedule your shows and have them on air at a certain time.
But I like audio pre-recorded. That’s why I like podcasting. You get to edit and can correct mistakes.
However Internet radio would be a great choice when you want to get involved more in just music. The only thing about that is you don't own the music, and your radio broadcast can be stopped. You only have the right to play music. Everything has an advantage and disadvantage.

The first thing that I think of after creating my podcast is the cover art. It helps to represent the show. It can get the audience attention when they see it in iHeart or Spotify. You can get free images online to help you do your cover art.
You can make a podcast logo for your podcast. It is important to appear. For this podcast, I just used a title & photo that pertains to what my podcast is about. For this episode, I made a logo out of my name to give you an idea of what I’m talking about when I talk about a logo.
Thinking of a podcast visually makes me feel like I’m creating a podcast brand. I try to focus on the audience. When I podcast about music, it doesn’t seem so hard to like do when I podcast about sports. Music is more my passion. I’m more into music.
In my opinion, it’s not only what the audience want, but your want as the podcaster is important too. You want the audience to feel the passion of what you do so they can enjoy it.
I think if you want to make your podcast a brand, your passion & being excited about your podcast can help you make that brand voice. Your audience might want to hear more of what you have to say. It’s good to be passionate about what you’re doing & be consistent about publishing your podcast. If you do that, not only will the audience seek to hear your voice, but they’ll know you visually as well.
25 MAR 2023 · It seems a lot of people are doing sports podcasts. Podcasting about sports ought to be something you can benefit from if you want to make money. A lot of people in the world like sports. Almost everybody I know likes a particular sport or has a favorite team. It’s a good way to gain fans or collaborate with others. You can also help promote with a sports podcast.
If you have a sports podcast and are planning to monetize it, it’s a good idea. You have to keep building that podcast with episodes and find some good topics to keep the audience listening. Some of my topics in sports are more successful than others. Some of my podcast episodes hardly have listeners & those are the ones that sometimes pick up listeners later on. People go back for recaps or highlights. Audience may do the same in podcasting.

22 MAR 2023 · Welcome to Nobles Media. If you’re following me, Gail Nobles, You know I have more than one podcast. The Cat Bear, Podcast & Blues, The Gospel Greats, Entertainment Podcasting Sports, and more.
For those of you that haven’t made a podcast & would like to, I encourage you to do so. It’s fun. I love doing it. That’s why I have more than one. It takes some time & thought to do each one. It can also be very challenging.
Most of my podcasts are music podcasts. I have two kinds of podcasts for the Gospel. One podcast for everything about all sports. Podcasting can be a never ending kind of thing.
So if you start your first podcast and want to do more than one, then that’s what you should do. Follow your heart. You may find one podcast more successful than another.
I don’t think I started more than one podcast right away, but I don’t think it took long for me to do so. You might find that after working a while with one podcast, it might be successful. If you create another one after having experience with your first, your second one might turn out to be the best. It won’t hurt to take things slow. You’ve got to start your first podcast first. You’ll never know until you start.
