6 GEN 2023 · “Commitment is a dinosaur word that has no meaning to anything whatsoever as relates to men and their view of women. However, a man will commit to love, honoring his car, no problem.”
... This is, word for word, how the Urban Dictionary defines “commitment”. Even though this entry was last updated in 2005, relationships and commitment are as old as time, and not a lot seems to have changed ever since.
I don’t know a single person without some kind of opinion on commitment... Which is why I’m thrilled to have a conversation about it with someone who has very strong opinions about it.
Chayelle Rose is a coach and a mom of 5, and a motherhood demystifier, helping moms realize how to do the “mom thing” easily, simply, worry-free. Her aim is to simplify relationships, bring out your confidence, and most importantly - expand your bandwidth for a smooth-sailing life no matter what comes up.
She also grew up in a religious community where commitment is a major part (and expectation) of one’s life.
In this episode, we’re discussing:
1. How do you approach relationships when the commitment comes first, and the rest comes later,
2. The unexpected ways that the religious Jewish communities help soon-to-be married and newlyweds with commitment,
3. And how dating apps could address the topic of commitment better.

25 NOV 2022 · When people on their deathbeds are asked what their biggest regret in life is, they all answer “I wish I had invested more of my time and focus on my relationships”.
These days, with all the stress, technology and the ever-growing disconnection from nature, it’s easy to get trapped inside our own heads and compare ourselves to others, live with regrets, and have difficulty letting go and forgiving ourselves.
Which is exactly what my guest today, Ben, the co-founder of Samana, is helping his clients to release from their lives.
In this episode, we’re discussing:
1. Prioritizing our relationships,
2. Listening to our guts and trusting our instincts,
3. And how can one learn emotional healing and expand their capacity for love

11 NOV 2022 · If there’s one mistake that I hear people make all the time when they’re dating is arriving at a date with a pile of expectations.
Then the date ends, and they’re left with nothing but disappointment.
So can you get rid of the expectations part and just go with the flow? I sure think so, and I’ve been practicing that for years.
Don’t get me wrong - having expectations is natural, human, and some would even say inevitable.
But what can you do to “chill the fuck out” and have fun when you’re dating?
That’s exactly what my guest today, Naida Allen, and I are trying to get to the bottom of.
Naida is a copywriter by trade and the co-founder of Confidently Anxious, a platform dedicated to challenging social media conventions.
In this episode, we’re discussing:
1. Why are we so obsessed with the idea of love,
2. How to balance being a hopeless romantic and not believing in “the one”,
3. And my own dating approach, which in turn, helped me to no longer have bad dates.

28 OTT 2022 · “Am I enough to be loved?”
This question is one that I asked myself again and again in the past.
Having had a really low self-worth and self-esteem and a really high Imposter Syndrome was taking a toll on my romantic partnership and every other relationship in my life.
The topic of self-worth has risen again and again in the past 15 episodes, which led me to ask Self-Worth Sam, a Demartini method facilitator, and an Imposter Syndrome expert, to come on and talk about it.
In this episode, we’re discussing:
1. The difference between Imposter Syndrome and self-worth,
2. How to get rid of imposter syndrome, and get in alignment with your partner,
3. And the surprising connection between Imposter syndrome and narcissism.

14 OTT 2022 · TW: abuse, depression, toxic relationships
“I don't need a relationship in order to feel loved” - I read this sentence, concluding Jane Kisnica’s Linkedin post a couple of weeks back, and by that point, I just knew that we had to record an episode together.
What Jane has been experiencing in the past couple of years has already become a phenomenon - people of all sexes and genders really used sitting at home to improve their lives - their relationships and dating in particular.
Some of them decided to write, podcast, and talk about it wherever they are. Others have decided to pull on the breaks, stop dating actively, and focus on self-growth.
In this episode, we’re discussing:
1. Being “the fixer” of a relationship, and the savior complex,
2. Resting bitch faces as a part of our identities,
3. And the up-and-coming (and unexpected) platform for dating (hint: it’s not meant for that!).

30 SET 2022 · When society tells you to hate your body - build a community that teaches loving your body instead!
I’m truly honored to share an unexpected and a wildly inspiring success story with you today.
This episode, I’m hosting my dear friend Isabelle Bede - a journalist, creative content strategist working in digital media, and the co-founder of Lábios Livres.
Lábios Livres is a sexual education page and community on Instagram, and since starting it in November of 2020, it grew organically to be 40k followers strong. Not too bad, eh?
The good people of Lábios Livres teach people who identify as women to ferociously and unapologetically love their own bodies and explore the true meaning of pleasure for them every single day.
But starting such a page, and managing it through the restrictions of Instagram, is a daily challenge - both practically-wise and mentally-wise.
In this episode, we’re discussing:
1. Isabelle’s personal and continuous journey to starting and managing such a page,
2. Why loving your body is an act of courage,
3. And the psychology (and restrictions) behind managing a sex-ed community on Instagram.

16 SET 2022 · Do you ever feel that something “feels much harder than it should”? Do you ever step into the room and can immediately pick up everything in it?
Congratulations - You might be a Highly Sensitive Person.
When I discovered that I was an HSP, things started making sense on a much deeper level.
That’s why when I heard that my guest today, Adozie, is a fellow HSP who harnesses this sensitivity as a strength to help her own coaching clients, I knew that we had to record a conversation about that.
In this episode, we’re discussing:
1. What does being Highly Sensitive look like?
2. Myths about being an HSP that we need to debunk
3. And my own dating philosophy as an HSP (which was a completely unplanned mini-coaching session!).

2 SET 2022 · If you’re a human being reading this - I hope this isn’t the case with you, but it’s very likely that you’ve experienced burnout, or been very close to it, especially in the past couple of years.
Being so stressed and pressured by everything happening in the world right now feels heavy, work gets more demanding, and our relationships are heavily affected too.
In this episode, I had the pleasure of having Tanya Geddes, a burnout coach, as my guest. She gave some very useful tips on how can you deal with burnout, what are the questions you need to ask yourself to avoid or recognize a state of burnout, and what kind of measures can you take when you’re dating someone and experiencing burnout - whether you’re single and ready to mingle, or dating someone steadily?
In this episode, we’re discussing:
1. The role of empathy in establishing relationships in our digital age,
2. Dealing with burnout while in a relationship,
3. And what’s the connection between fishing photos on dating profiles and burnout?
