As Lindsey grew older and struggled with addiction issues, their relationship took a turn for the worse and they didn't speak for four years. After working through their trauma, the two wrote a book together "The Mother-Daughter Relationship: 4 Steps to Bring Back the Love" detailing their struggles and how to heal.
