What is an EFB battery, and how does it work? For starters, it is important to understand that an EFB battery is a further development of the conventional lead-acid battery. Since the battery is called ‘flooded’, the internal structure of the standard lead-acid battery is enhanced in this case, and it’s filled with a mixture of acid and water. Secondly, this type of battery is suitable for use in cars that consist of a simple automatic start-stop system. These batteries are known to have a longer service life due to the use of a polyvlies material on the surface of the positive plate.
