7 MAG 2023 · One would think that the church would be a safe place - a body of people claiming to follow Jesus, who, himself, was an emotionally safe and accepting kind of Savior! Challenging at times (yes), but He was always filled with grace and compassion and a love so contagious that people could not help but be drawn to Him. What happens when we experience just the opposite? Church trauma is real and hopefully you have not experienced the shame and manipulation that both Taylor and Devin reveal in their very honest stories. But don't be dismayed friends; hope awaits.
