The African-American Police Officer is the conscience of most Municipal Police Departments. Almost daily, they must navigate through racism, brutality, marginalization, and even condemnation from the people they seek to serve best…the African-American public. Most not only work silently behind the scenes to intercede when the civil rights of minorities are about to be abused, many are actively involved in off-duty services to their communities. Come meet these Blacks in Blue and hear their stories, their goals, and the differences they have made in their departments and their communities.
