22 GEN 2020 · We have reached the familiar moment in the season with our Pistons showing flashes while sitting just outside of the playoffs. We discuss potential trade rumors as well as the potential to stay put and see how things play out.
The Andre Drummond trade talks have died down, so what will happen this off-season? Is the Drummond-era truly over? Derrick Rose’s value is now highly coveted by contending teams, but remains high for the Pistons as well. What direction do we see the Pistons moving in?

10 GEN 2020 · In this week’s episode, I’m joined by Detroit Bad Boys’ own Shameek Mohile! We’ll discuss what Detroit should do with a winnable schedule approaching. They’re only 3.5 games back of the eight seed in the East, and will face off against 13 teams with losing records, in their next 17 games.
We’ll also break down the Blake Griffin situation, and discuss why it’s almost a guarantee that he’ll be shut down for the remainder of the season. With Blake Griffin on the bench, that’s given rise to DR. DOOM aka Sekou Doumbouya - we’ll cover what’s impressed us so far with the rookie.
And last, but certainly not least - we’ll tackle the 6’11 elephant in the room - Andre Drummond. It’s almost a guarantee that he’ll be traded in the next month - what should Detroit expect in return? Who’s a realistic trading partner? And what does a trade mean for the Pistons’ near future?

21 NOV 2019 · In this week's episode of Inside The Cylinder, we discuss Detroit's 4-10 start to the season. Detroit's lost a ton of "winnable" games, and are coming off a twenty point blowout loss to the Chicago Bulls - who many had predicted would miss the playoffs this season. It's their second loss of the season to the Bulls, and their fifth loss to expected lottery teams.
Where do they go from here? Detroit's in a tough situation when it comes to a rebuild for a variety of reasons, but does that mean they should continue with this team as is?
And what would a rebuild even look like? Soft rebuild? Blow this mother f'er up? We'll take a look at what Detroit can, and should do moving forward from here.
