Constipation may be uncomfortable to talk about, but the pain that it can cause is much worse than the conversation itself. In this episode, our host and Harbor Palliative care nurse Cheri Montambo talks about preventative measures as well as acting quickly to mitigate the problems that constipation can cause patients. You may notice in this episode that in the background there is an audible breeze of early summer air, along with a choir of West Michigan songbirds. Our hosts Cheri and Amy are on location in rural West Michigan speaking with Cheri's parents, Rick and Rhonda, about their experience being caregivers for their father's who both suffered from Dementia.
