Growing up in my little country town, race was simply a way to name the difference between us (white folks) and them (everyone else).
Then, when I was a teenager, I was blessed to be recruited by a competitive basketball team in Greensbor, NC. I went from having one black kid in my school to being the only white kid on the team.
I have lived in both worlds. I love both. And, I know there is healing and understanding needed. This podcast is my way to give people like me an opportunity to listen and do their work.
