On the Mount of olives, Jesus spoke to his disciples and told them how His death, burial and resurrection was to come. Further He spoke of how striking down the Shepherd would cause the sheep to scatter. Jesus warned Peter to cling to his faith so that after his betrayal to Christ, he would have an opportunity to repent and come back to Him. Peter boldly and zealously committed to follow Christ to jail and or to the grave, Jesus then told Peter, before the cock crows, you will deny me three times! We all must ask ourselves, how many times and I made the cock crow?
