9 MAG 2023 · Hi Gang! As you may have noticed, there was no new upload this week. We took a week off to gather ourselves. As some of you know, Megan joined Ashley over at That's So Fcked Up to talk about the murder of Elizabeth Short.
This season was A LOT. So many people, places, incidents, etc. to keep track of, especially over the course of a month. Here we've taken out the intros and outros from episodes 2, 3 and 4 so that you can just follow the story straight from start to finish.
In this season, Megan from Give Us Morgue and Ashley from That's So Fcked Up, explored the man behind the mystery of who killed Elizabeth Short aka "The Black Dahlia", George Hodel, and the generational wake of terror and destruction that he left, causing members of his own family to name the podcast the "Root of Evil" after him.
-In their first episode, Megan and Ashley, dug into the murder of the Black Dahlia and introduced the man who killed her, George Hodel.
Trigger warning for graphic details of sexual assault, torture, and mutilation.
-In their second episode, Megan and Ashley, dug further into Elizabeth Short's murderer, George Hodel. Hodel was a genius, with an IQ one point higher than Einstein- he was literally an evil genius. A highly regarded doctor who allegedly raped and murdered multiple women.
