She helped Michael King, Ernie DeMassa, Paul Gilbert and many others including Rolonda Watts and her talk show. Kathryn’s written a book about her experiences as the personal assistant to Bette Davis. She was with the legendary Movie Star through her late career renaissance, her recovery from a debilitating stroke, a humiliating public betrayal and was bedside at the star’s death. Kathryn’s book is called MISS D & ME – it’s a fascinating read and she has many stories to tell.

Mark was Co-Worldwide head of programming for William Morris Endeavor where he packaged some of the biggest hits in syndication including PEOPLE’S COURT, AMERICAN GLADIATORS, talk shows with Ricky Lake and Vicki Lawrence, game shows with Merv Griffin and he was even Jerry Springer’s agent at one time. Mark was the architect behind some of the greatest deals in Syndicated Television.

24 LUG 2018 · Check out Lou’s conversation with two seasoned news producers, Linda Ellman and Barry Berk. They worked together at NBC Nightly News and Entertainment Tonight. Linda went on to Hard Copy, Speaking of Woman’s Health, The Rob Nelson talk show and Intimate Portraits for Lifetime. Barry helped start Access Hollywood then co-founded the successful events company BBDR Pacific where he Executive Produces Charity Events and Business Conferences. They’ve both had adventures in news gathering and that’s what we are talking about in this episode.
