I sat down this week with Nebraskan VexHead https://www.instagram.com/lt_schroer/, whose interest in redesigning flags goes back to 2021 when the state capital of Lincoln held a contest to redesign their city flag. https://www.instagram.com/p/CUN7Dg_vhwD/ didn't win, but it started him on a journey to eventually redesign flags for all 50 U.S. states and territories, as well as several fantastic upgrades for city flags around the country. His redesigns on every level show how good flags can be both distinct... and related.
