With the scholar and activist Howie Rechavia-Taylor we discuss how empathy can foster unlikely alliances and generate unconditional solidarity across movements. For Konstantinos Maragkos and Youthmakers Hub, young people can only become active citizens or change makers if they are well informed and know as much as possible about their rights, opportunities and power. But what happens to young people who spend part of their formative years behind barriers?
