15 MAR 2022 · Please join Michelle as she welcomes Jocelyn Olivia Nixin to Station To Station. Jocelyn is the lead singer and songwriter for the band The Creepy Jingles. Jocelyn discusses what drew her to music and songwriting, her songwriting process and inspirations, her earlier musical projects, being labeled as an artist, some of the challenges facing artists in the digital age and potential solutions to support artists' creativity, and the process creating The Creepy Jingles's new record "Take Me At My Wordplay."

28 DIC 2021 · Please join hosts Patrick Sprehe and Michelle Bacon along with producer Chris Mowry as they reflect on the year that was 2021. For this retrospective episode, each of them brought one area for improvement in the Kansas City music industry to the forefront as they discussed the need for change and ways to address the issue.
Center Cuts produced 22 episodes in 2021 (the goal is 2 per month on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month) which included Michelle Bacon's Station To Station. S2S goes behind the stages, venues and studios of Kansas City's musical landscape as Michelle chats with fellow music professionals about their passions, careers and experiences in an ever-evolving industry. Amber discusses her life growing up in Kansas City, some early family music experiences, her decision to learn the flute, informal and formal musical training, the desire to become a performing artist, her multiple degrees and becoming a band director in the public schools, and some recent developments in her music career including the 2020 release of her album "This Is Me." Amber also shares her thoughts about what makes KC special, and why Kansas City needs to get behind KC artists and promote them as brand ambassadors while including them in the conversations to develop the arts.
